SQN31.401 Electromotoric Actuator

SQN31.401 Electromotoric Actuator is a Siemens electric actuator used to control air dampers or fuel valves in industrial burner systems. It plays a key role in regulating the air–fuel ratio to ensure stable, efficient, and safe combustion.

The SQN31.401 operates with a precision electric motor that opens and closes the damper smoothly according to signals from the burner control system. This accurate movement helps maintain the correct air and fuel flow, preventing incomplete combustion, flame instability, and excessive fuel consumption

  • In connection with P-PI or PID controllers, such as the RWF
  • Directly via the different types of burner controls, such as LOA, LMO , LMG or LFL
  • In connection with 1- or 2-wire control or 3-position controllers
    All types of actuators

Siemens LFL 1.333 / Siemens LFL 1322

Siemens LFL 1.333 and Siemens LFL 1.322 (LFL 1322) are burner control units designed to manage and safeguard the combustion process in forced-draught gas and oil burners. These controllers act as the “brain” of the burner system, handling the start-up sequence, ignition, flame monitoring, and shutdown to ensure safe and stable operation.

Both LFL models are equipped with reliable flame supervision. After ignition, the controller checks whether a flame is present within a specified safety time. If no flame is detected, it immediately shuts off the fuel supply to prevent dangerous conditions. This makes the LFL 1.333 and LFL 1.322 essential for protecting boilers and industrial heating systems

  • Control and supervision of forced draft burners of direct spark flame or interrupted pilot construction
  • For medium to high capacityFor intermittent operation (at least one controlled shutdown every 24 hours)
  • For universal use with multistage or modulating burners
  • For use with stationary air heaters (WLE)
  • For use with dual-fuel burners

Siemens UV detector

Siemens UV Detectors QRA5 and QRA7

Siemens UV Detectors QRA5 and QRA7 are flame sensors used to monitor the presence and stability of a flame in industrial burner and boiler systems. These detectors work by sensing the ultraviolet (UV) radiation emitted by a flame, allowing the burner control unit to confirm that combustion is taking place safely and correctly.

The QRA5 is widely used for oil and gas burners and is known for its fast response and reliable flame detection. It ensures that the burner control can quickly verify flame ignition and immediately shut off the fuel supply if the flame is lost. This provides a high level of safety and prevents dangerous fuel buildup

  • Detects flame through ultraviolet (UV) radiation

  • Fast response for reliable flame detection during burner start-up

  • High accuracy to confirm stable flame presence

  • Compatible with a wide range of Siemens burner control units

  • Suitable for both gas and oil burners

  • Designed to withstand industrial operating conditions

  • Automatically helps shut off fuel if the flame is lost

Siemens Burner Control

Siemens Burner Control is an advanced combustion control system designed to manage, protect, and optimize the performance of burners in a wide range of industrial applications such as boilers, furnaces, ovens, and process heating systems. It acts as the central control unit that coordinates every stage of burner operation, from start-up and ignition to flame supervision and safe shutdown, ensuring that combustion runs safely, smoothly, and efficiently.

During burner start-up, Siemens Burner Control ensures that all operating steps follow the correct sequence. The system activates the fan or blower to provide sufficient combustion air, adjusts the air damper through a motorized actuator, opens the fuel valves, and triggers the ignition system

  • Automatic Start-Up Sequence – Manages fan operation, air damper positioning, fuel valve opening, and ignition in the correct order.

  • Flame Supervision – Works with UV, ionization, or IR flame detectors to confirm stable flame presence.

  • Safety Shut-Off – Immediately closes fuel valves if flame failure, ignition error, or abnormal conditions occur.
